Will Ridings, Attorney

I am an Attorney licensed in Missouri and the United States Federal Courts since 1995.

The clients I serve best own a home or any other assets that they need to protect, usually from creditors. I have helped thousands of clients since 1998 to keep their homes from overreaching creditors. Now, I am expanding my practice to include protecting their home and any other assets to pass onto the people they love the most when they need it.

My firm has eliminated hourly billing so all fees are determined in advance and on a flat fee basis, so there are never any surprises about what something would cost.

I put a team in place in my office to meet my client's needs so whenever a client calls the office they can have their quick questions answered without playing phone tag. If a client needs to speak to me about a legal or strategic matter they can have a call scheduled which would make the best use of the client's time.

Frequently Asked Questions

WHY USE RIDINGS LAW FIRM?

When you are facing creditors, and their attorney’s, over debt problems, you don’t know who to trust. The Creditors tell you things that are in their best interest, not yours. I AM AFRAID WHAT OTHER PEOPLE WILL THINK OF ME, HOW CAN I DEAL WITH THAT?

Filing bankruptcy happens to people from all works of life and although you may feel alone when life has beaten you down its important to know that bankruptcy is a tool to help you pick yourself up by your bootstraps and dust yourself off. Many, many people and businesses file for bankruptcy each year including people you would never suspect.

CAN I KEEP MY CAR, HOME, FURNITURE, ETC IF I FILE BANKRUPTCY?

Yes, in most cases you can keep your property in order to get a fresh start. Each case is different and Ridings Law Firm can determine your exemptions and guide you through the bankruptcy process.

I CANNOT AFFORD BANKRUPTCY, HOW DO I PAY FOR IT?

Fees for filing bankruptcy depend on a number of factors including the type of bankruptcy as do attorney's fees. While we have no control over filing fees, we do try to make our services as affordable as possible. You can make payments if you need to or pay the fees all at once.

HOW DOES BANKRUPTCY AFFECT MY CREDIT?

Creditors generally look at your ability to repay when considering whether or not to lend you money. Since bankruptcy eliminates most debts you are much more likely to be able to afford to repay any new debt. Bankruptcy will affect your credit for a period of time, but it provides a path for you to improve your credit and get on with your life.

I ONLY WANT TO LIST CERTAIN CREDITORS IN MY BANKRUPTCY, IS THAT OK?

No. Since bankruptcy is Federal Law, and Federal Law does not discriminate, you must list all of your creditors and all of your assets in order to treat everybody equal.
